FAQ

What are the Health & Safety guidelines during the tours?

Your health and safety is of the upmost importance to us!  In order to adhere to the guidelines of the provincially approved operational plan, we have reduced the capacity of our tours and focused on bookings from the same family and/or continuously exposed social groups. There will be no individual seat sales at this time. The touring vehicle will be sanitized after every tour by steaming all cloth surfaces and wiping down hard surfaces with disinfectant cleaning products. During the tours, we will also provide hand sanitizer upon entry/exit of the vehicle, asking everyone to please refrain from touching the door handles. We will not be providing masks or gloves at this time, however, you are free to wear them during your tour, but it is not necessary. Each location we visit will have guidelines laid out for us to follow as well, and we must abide by those at each location. If you are experiencing a fever, cough or difficulty breathing we ask that you cancel your tour with us and re-book following your illness. If the tour guide determines that someone is posing an undue risk to the health and safety of individuals on the tour, they are obligated to address the risk. This could involve refusing to provide services to a person engaged on the tour and if the tour has commenced, they will be asked to make other arrangements for return transportation.  All parties will be required to sign a form stating they have not been out of the province in the previous 14 days, and are not experiencing any symptoms at the time. This form will be collected for contact tracing only, and will be properly destroyed after use. We look forward to touring with our guests in the safest way possible!

Are you fully licensed, certified and insured?

Absolutely! We carry the proper classification of licence to transport persons in all of our vehicles. We carry a liability and comprehensive insurance.

Our guides are also Certified Tour Guides with the province of Prince Edward Island, carry valid First Aid and CPR Certification, Food Handling Safety Certified and hold a Responsible Beverage Service Program Certificate.

We always advise people who must drive in for the day to arrange alternate transportation for the return journey, however for a small fee we will return you safely back to your accommodation. Public transit and/or Taxi services are available in Charlottetown, Summerside and most rural areas. Please contact us for suggestions of fabulous local Inns & B&Bs.

Yes! However, they must be secured in the back for safety and legal reasons. We offer a secured container for the safe keeping of your purchases.

What if I have never been on a tour like this before?

Some people may be more wine, beer or spirit savvy than others. It really doesn’t matter if you have been enjoying wine, beer or spirits for years, or if this will be your first glass, there literally is something for everyone to enjoy and learn from. To make it easy, and comfortable, the small group social setting is the best for being able to listen to your questions and respond to you. We may not know everything, but we will be sure to give you the best experience possible on your tasting journey.
